Ingredients

Serves : 11
  • 1 cups cashew


  • 1/2 cups sugar


  • 1/4 cups water


  • 1 tbsp milk


  • 2-3 drop rose watet


  • 1 tsp ghee,for greasing


  • 1/2 cups fig


  • 1/2 cups dates


  • 1/4 cups sugar

Directions

  • 1. Ground the kaju to make powder
  • Add Water with sugar and make one string sugar syrup.
  • Add kaju powder into sugar syrup and cook continuously stirring on low flame.
  • Keep stirring till it forms a dough, add the milk if the dough.gets little dry.
  • Now knead the dough.while it is warm to smooth it.
  • Roll it using a rolling pin on the butter paper
  • To make the stuffing, soak the gig and date . Squeeze them out and make them paste
  • Cook the paste with 1tdsp sugar and cook for 5 minutes, it becomes thick.
  • Spread this stuffing on the rolled kaju sheet.
  • Now using with the butter paper , roll it to form a shape of cylinder.
  • Cool for sometime and cut it into pieces and roll on the silver varak.
  • Ready for serve.
